The Waterloo

Interesting looking pub from the outside. On Wellington street in the financial district. Never been in here looks bigger on the outside, quite small inside. 25 chairs tops.
Gantry is odd. Normal setup on one side of the bar then pink, green and yellow bottles of what looks like alchopops on the other.
Got a pint of tennents £2.90 not bad, good pint. Tennents, Guinness, Kronenberg, San Migule, Carling, Strongbow, Magners, John Smiths and Stella on draught.
I think this may be a gay bar. Staff are friendly, music is cheesy teen Brit pop from the 90s.
I think supping up is in order as there is only so much back street boys I can listen to.
Pint was good though!

The Admiral

On Waterloo st. I did not know it existed. Old school looking pub from the outside. Strange shape on the inside. Long bar than runs the length of the narrow room, stops mid way and the room changes into a more restaurant / dinner look.

Bog standard gantry nothing special at all.Guinness, Amstel, Fosters, Sagres, Heineken, Deuchers, Moretti and Strongbow on tap. I have ordered a pint of Moretti for a change. Nice pint in qtheir big challace glass but the price. Fek me £4.50 this isn't London !!  Restaurant prices in a pub do not sit well with me.

Over all nothing to this bar. It's got Royal Navy Ship standards in bost in the mirrors which adds a little something. It may have an interesting story but there is nothing on display. Staff are friendly enough and being in the heart of Glasgows financial district it's very quite except a couple of suitted gents At the bar.
Supping up? Yes!! It was worth a look I won't be back. to expensive for what you get. Oh Fosters is £2.80. Lol I think that sums it up....
